Cteam is planning a significant expansion at the headquarters in Ummendorf with an innovative training centre. On Monday evening, after a bidding process lasting several months, the municipality of Ummendorf awarded the contract for the additional planned sections of the Espach industrial estate, which cover a total area of 12,700 m2.
Construction of the ‘Cteam Campus’ is scheduled to start in 2024, depending on the approval process. The campus will include an additional office building as well as an innovative training and education centre. The main aim of the Cteam Campus is to provide industrial and salaried employees with even more intensive training and to improve the onboarding experience for future Cteam Group employees. Furthermore, additional office spaces will be created in close proximity to the existing buildings.
Helmut Locher, the owner and managing director of Cteam HL Holding GmbH, emphasises: “The market volume in the energy and mobile telephone sector has been growing steadily for years.” This dynamic is expected to last. However, we need to think about tomorrow today and prepare for the future. “The expansion will provide Cteam with more space for development, enabling it to keep pace with the market’s growing dynamics.”
Jochen Spitz, Managing Director of Cteam Consulting & Anlagenbau GmbH, adds: “As the market leader, we are experiencing strong growth, while also facing the challenges posed by the green energy transition and advancing digitalisation. The expectation is that we will continue to grow in the next five to ten years. This is why training and further education for our employees is so important.”
Hubert Deutsch, also Managing Director of Cteam Consulting & Anlagenbau GmbH, emphasises the regional significance of the project and stresses: “The expansion is an important step in safeguarding the location. We would like to thank everyone involved in this strategically important project for their commitment and perseverance. The good cooperation with the municipality of Ummendorf will continue, creating a real win-win situation for both parties.”
The investment volume for the Cteam Campus amounts to several million. A dedicated project team, consisting of specialists from various departments, external architects and experts, is working on initiating the project immediately.
Environment and sustainability have top priority at Cteam. The planned ensemble of buildings will feature natural outdoor spaces for recreational use by training participants and employees. Particular emphasis is placed on sustainable construction methods that allow for changes and extensions, while aiming to minimise soil sealing. The car parks have water-bound surfaces and some of the façades are planted. The roofs of the new buildings will largely be covered with photovoltaic modules, and the buildings' heating and cooling systems will operate in an energy-efficient and resource-saving manner.
Cteam invites potential specialists to apply at the Ummendorf site and benefit from the attractive development opportunities.
